The article has been updated successfully.Termination codes allow you to track the reason for a tenant's termination of his or her lease. Propertyware tracks this information during the Move-Out process on any lease. Propertyware comes with several standard termination codes. You may delete standard termination codes or create new ones by clicking Setup > Customize > Leases and selecting the Lease Termination Codes button from the sub-navigation bar.
To Create a new Lease Termination Code:
- Click the New Termination Code button.
- Enter the Code Name
- Click Save.
To Delete an existing Lease Termination Code:
- Click the Del button that appears under the Action column for the desired Code.
- A Delete Confirmation pop-up will display, prompting you to globally reassign a new Termination Code to leases currently assigned with the Code you wish to delete. Select an alternative Code from the drop down menu.
- Click Save.
