Manage Customers

Propertyware classifies Other Customers as those entities or customers that generate income for your Portfolios, Buildings, or Units from a source other than a lease. Other Customer payments are viewed within the Money In Tab l Summary, under the Other Customers Subtab. Your Propertyware Administrator may create, edit, or delete Other Customers from the Manage Customers area in the Setup Menu.

To add a new Other Customer:

  1. Click the Setup link at the top of the application.
  2. Then, from the Administration Setup menu on the left side navigation, click Manage Customers.
  3. The Other Customers Summary Page appears, with a list of active Other Customers. To add a new customer, click the New Customer button.
  4. The New Customer box appears onscreen. The only required field is the name; complete the information in this box and click Save to save the new customer, or Cancel to cancel.
  5. The new customer now appears on the Other Customers Summary Page.

To edit an existing Other Customer:

  1. Click the Setup link at the top of the application.
  2. Then, from the Administration Setup menu on the left side navigation, click Manage Customers.
  3. The Other Customers Summary Page appears, with a list of active Other Customers. To edit an existing customer, click the Edit link in the Action column.
  4. The Edit Customer box appears onscreen. Edit the information in this box and click Save to save the changes to the customer, or Cancel to cancel.
  5. The edit customer now appears on the Other Customers Summary Page.

To delete an existing Other Customer:

  1. Click the Setup link at the top of the application.
  2. Then, from the Administration Setup menu on the left side navigation, click Manage Customers.
  3. The Other Customers Summary Page appears, with a list of active Other Customers. To delete an existing customer, click the Del link in the Action column.
  4. The following confirmation message will appear. To delete the customer, click OK, or click Cancel to cancel.
  5. The deleted customer no longer appears on the Other Customers Summary Page.

Note: You can only delete a customer from which you have not received any payments on the Other Customers SubTab.
