What is a Unit?

In Propertyware, a Unit is a division of a Building which may be rented. Units may be identified throughout the application by a blue building icon with a single red door. Units have several attributes, such as Unit Type and amenities, which allow users to differentiate one Unit from another. Propertyware also allows you to upload a photo to a Unit for identification and marketing purposes.

What are Unit Types?

Propertyware allows you to categorize your Units by Unit Type. These Types will display on Propertyware Reports and your Unit Summary Pages, found by selecting a Unit from the Property Navigator menu and clicking the Summary button located within the sub-navigation bar. You may assign your Units to a standard Unit Type preset within the application, or alternatively, customize a Unit Type when creating a new Unit.

The standard Unit Types preset within the application are:

·1 BR/1 BA

·2 BR/1 BA

·2 BR/2 BA

·3 BR/1 BA

·3 BR/2 BA

·4 BR/2 BA

·Studio

·Loft

·Assigned Parking (Indoor)

·Assigned Parking (Outdoor)

Examples of Unit Types you may want to custom create are:

·Street Retail

·Restaurant

·Warehouse
