You will need to find the area where the A Records are located usually in an area DNS Management. These are the records that point your domain name to the appropriate servers IP Address. An IP (Internet Protocol) address is an actual physical machine located on the Internet where your website resides. In the case of your Propertyware Portal site, it will reside on our web servers.
In order to point your domain name to our servers you will need to edit the A Record and change the IP address to match the Propertyware IP address.
A Records are usually in the following format:
Yourdomain.com = 63.96.29.161
Basically like a phone book it translates your name into a corresponding IP number.
You will need to edit your “A Record” and change the IP number to the following value:
63.96.29.161
Once this change takes place it will require some time to propagate through the internet. Usually this will be within a few hours but it can take up to 24 hours depending on your web host.
Below are some examples of common A Record Setups:

In the above graphic you will notice there are several records for the Domain name, you will need to make sure that you are working with the A record and not one of the others such as MX or CNAME. Notice there is only one A record for the main domain name, but there may be other names that have xxx.domainname.com disregard those and work only with the main name with nothing in front of it.
