Internet Security

At Propertyware, we understand that internet security is critical to your business and that's why we place it at the forefront of our focus. All data within the application and portals are protected by the same industry leading encryption technology that is used by leading financial institutions and online trading companies. Our online application encrypts all transmissions between your browser and our servers using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL ensures that your information is protected during transmission over the Internet. When a user logs into Propertyware or a portal, you will see a small lock icon at the bottom of your browser display indicating that a secure (SSL) connection has been established with our servers. In addition, the Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) used to access your data in Propertyware are preceded with "https" instead of "http," indicating that a secure connection has been established and maintained for data entry and access within the Propertyware application.

Propertyware provides each user a unique username and password that must be entered upon login. Each time a user logs in, Propertyware issues a session "cookie" to authenticate each user for the duration of their session. For security reasons, a user session automatically expires after 50 minutes of inactivity, at which point the user will be requested to reenter their password information in order to continue with their session.
