Building Mail Merge

To Generate a Mail Merge from a Building:

  1. Click the Properties tab of the application.
  2. Using Search or the Navigator located on the left sidebar of the page, locate the applicable Building.
  3. The Building Summary Page appears. Click the Mail Merge button at the top of the page.
  4. The page will then refresh to display Propertyware's Building Mail Merge.
  5. From the Select Template scroll bar menu, select the mail merge template of your choice.
  • To preview a template, click on the Preview link from the preview pane to the right of the scroll bar.

  • To add text or mail merge fields to your template before initiating a mail merge, click Editing a Mail Merge Template.

From here, you can take the following actions with these buttons:

  • View Document -- Clicking this button will merge the selected template with relevant building data and generate in Adobe Acrobat PDF to ensure secure, dependable electronic information once distributed to the mail merged recipient. Once you are in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the Save As option from the File menu on your browser to save the document to your computer. Be sure to save the document to a location you can easily relocate, such as a folder in My Documents (Windows) or Documents (Mac). To print the document, click the Printer option from the File menu on your browser. Once printed, you may send the document to the appropriate mail merge recipient.
  • Attach to Building -- Clicking this button will attach the document to the Building Summary Page, under the Notes and Documents Tab.
  • Email this Document -- Clicking this button will allow you to email this document to any applicable contact using an existing Email Template, or through creating a new one.
  • Done -- Clicking this button will return you to the Building Summary Page.
