If
you have just signed up for a new Propertyware account and are logging in for
the first time, you will be considered the Propertyware Administrator. Upon logging in as the Administrator you will
be prompted to complete a four-step process that will help you configure your
account. If you exit Propertyware prior
to completing all steps in the Setup Assistant, the next time you login to
Propertyware the Setup Assistant will resume at the point where you left off.
- Step 1: Change
Password -- Enter
and verify a new password for your user account.
- Step 2: Company
Information
– Enter your company information, configure your account as a Property
Management Company, and determine the type of
properties you manage.
- Step 3: Lease
Settings
-- Customize your standard lease form to include late fees,
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fees, and move in fees.
- Step 4: Add
Users
-- Add more users within your company to your account.
The Setup Assistant will guide every subsequent user, whether an Administrator
or not, through the process of changing his or her password, upon initial login
to Propertyware.
