Propertyware Knowledge Base

If you have purchased Sites for its features, but would prefer to use a non-Propertyware site as your company’s official website, you can use the procedure below to redirect anyone who visits your Propertyware domain to your third-party website.

1. Log in to your Propertyware account.
2. At the top of any screen in Propertyware, click the Sites tab.
3. Find your Site in the list and, under the Action column, click Configure.
    
4. Click Pages on the left-hand side of the screen, then click EDIT on the right-hand side of the screen to bring up the index.html page.
    
5. At the top of the index.html screen, set the Layout File to NONE. 
    
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Turn OFF Editor link.
    
7. Click anywhere in the original editor box and press CTRL A to select all of the displayed information. Then press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
8. Enter the following line of HTML coding, replacing PUTYOURDOMAINNAMEHERE with your domain, e.g. www.propertyware.com. 
    
9. When you have ensured that the HTML is correct, click the Save button.
10. Click Update Site to complete your changes.
     
11. Click View Site to confirm that it takes you to your third-party web site.
