A view allows you to filter data on a particular page. For example, if you want to see a list of leases that are about to expire, you could create a view in the Leases tab that filters by leases with an end date “between” a particular date range. When this view is selected, only those leases will display on the page. You will be able to create views on most fields, including custom fields. Views are available for creation in the following tabs:
- Marketing
- Leases
- Contacts
- Properties
- Maintenance
To create a view:
- Navigate to the tab where you would like to add the view.
- The current view will display at the top of the page. Click the New View link.
- Name the view. This name you choose will display in the dropdown for all users.
- Choose the columns you would like to display as part of the view. Highlight the column from the available columns list and click the right arrow to move it to the selected columns. All columns in the selected columns are will display when the view is selected by a user.
- Add a filter. Choose the field you would like to create the filter on. Custom fields that you created will also be available to filter on.
