What is the Desktop?

The Desktop module offers you and your management team productivity and group collaboration tools that are centralized in one secure online location. The Desktop module is comprised of the following components, which appear as buttons under the header:

  • Home- This page is your bird’s eye view of the important information about your business. The Desktop’s home is comprised of the following:

    • Dashboard. This section displays animated Dashlets from the Dashboard module that show the performance of your properties. By default, the first two Dashlets from your Spotlight dashboard will appear on this page. To modify the Dashlets that appear in the Spotlight section of your home page, click the See More link that appears below it.

    • My Conversations. This section displays a list of any Open Conversations between you and your tenants through the Tenant Portal. These conversations can be related to work orders or the tenant’s lease.

    • My Upcoming Events. Displays a list of up to fifty future events. You can also add a new event from here by clicking the New Event button. All new events will be displayed on your Calendar.
  • Calendar- This section displays your calendar and all events in a day, week and month view. From here you can create new events and invite other Propertyware users in your account.

  • Task Lists- This section allows you to create lists of tasks and create individual tasks that can be assigned to other Propertyware users in your account.

  • Notes and Documents- This section is where you can create and view general notes that you would like to share with your team. From this section you can also share general documents with other users in your Propertyware account.

  • Alerts- This page allows you to view any alerts created from events such as a new prospect, service request or other important events.
